The rules of the road for using Goodnest.
Goodnest is a marketplace that connects customers with independent workers. We are not an employer of the workers on the platform, and we do not directly provide the services listed. Workers are independent contractors who set their own rates, hours, and methods.
By using Goodnest, you agree to provide accurate information, communicate honestly with other users, and comply with all applicable New Zealand laws. You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
When you post a job, you agree to describe the work accurately and pay the agreed price upon satisfactory completion. Disputes about quality or scope should be raised through the platform before requesting a refund.
When you accept a job, you agree to complete the work as described, arrive at the agreed time, and maintain any required licenses or qualifications for your trade. You are responsible for your own tax obligations.
Payments are processed securely through the platform. Goodnest charges a service fee on completed jobs. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST where applicable.
Reviews must be honest and relate to a completed job. Goodnest reserves the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or unrelated to the service provided.
Goodnest facilitates connections between customers and workers but is not liable for the quality of work performed. Workers are independent contractors, and any claims regarding work quality should be directed to the worker in the first instance.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. These terms were last updated in April 2026.
